1.1.2 Configure bootp

• Edit /etc/bootptab and add a line like :

  old:ha=08002095270C:ip=192.168.1.3:bf=/tftpboot/08002095270C
  

  where:

  • 08002095270C is the Hardware Address of your javastation (printed on the back of the javastation)
  • 192.168.1.3 is the IP-address that you like to give to your javastation.

• Edit /etc/inetd.conf and add/change a line with something like this:

  bootps    dgram   udp    wait   root   /usr/sbin/bootpd    bootpd -i -t 120
